1. Respondus will be providing instructor webinar training on the Respondus LockDown Browser and the
Respondus Monitor. The sessions are 45 minutes and will include demonstrations and the ability for you
to ask questions. The sessions will be held on:
January 11 (Today!) at 2pm
January 23 at 3pm

2. Qwickly will be providing webinar training on the Qwickly Attendance Module. These sessions are
limited to 100 participants, so register early.
The sessions will be held on:
January 17 at 2pm (Qwickly Attendance Training)
January 31 at 1pm (Introduction to Qwickly Attendance)

4. We just upgraded Blackboard and there are some changes to note:
a. The original version of the Collaborate web conference tool is no longer available. Collaborate Ultra is
now the current tool.
b. The inline grading function (for annotating student-submitted documents) has a slightly different look.
Highlighting text and point comments are the only possible tools now.
5. Instructional Development Days (Faculty Center event) will be held January 17
th
(NYC) and 18
th

6. Please let us help you with your Blackboard Grade Center! Students want to see their grades in
Blackboard, and your Grade Center is a direct reflection of your teaching. Let's get it organized before
the semester starts.
