OnStage Blog has ranked the Pace School of Performing Arts as the "Best Undergraduate Theatre Program" in the state of New York. Backstage has also recognized the program, naming it among "25 Amazing Acting Colleges You Should Know," and highlighting individualized attention and a focus on academics as key hallmarks. Dyson Notes Pace School of Performing Arts students command the stage at the Schimmel Center in their production of The Drowsy Chaperone in April 2018. Dominique Fishback Theater Arts Dominique Fishback is one of the Sundance Film Festival's most promising young actors. A series regular on the HBO hit The Deuce, Fishback's latest role in the Sundance drama Night Comes On landed her on The Hollywood Reporter's list of "5 Breakout Stars" to watch at Sundance. Nabiyah Be '14 Acting Nabiyah Be plays the character Linda in the Marvel Studios blockbuster hit Black Panther. Be appeared alongside an all-star cast, including Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, and Forest Whitaker. Ashley Romans '15 Theater Arts Ashley Romans won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Lead Performance in the play Rotterdam. Romans plays Fiona/Adrian in the transgender drama, which has been nominated for five LA Drama Critics Circle Awards.
