faculty assistants
for civic engagement
14
For more than a decade, the Center for Community Action and Research has offered a limited
number of stipends to support student assistants working for faculty members teaching Civic
Engagement courses. These faculty/student pairings provide unique opportunities for students
and faculty to work together on everything from tracking student service and providing
mentoring and support in finding community partners to assisting with research.
