Pace University
Art Department
The Art Department at Pace University is a vibrant center of artistic and creative
practice and interdisciplinary exchange. We trust in the humanistic purpose of
the arts, guiding student artists towards inventing the future in which they wish
to live. We teach a diverse range of creative practices and life skills to ensure
student success after graduation. The Art Department is where artists and
designers become independent critical thinkers, inventive risk takers, and engaged
global citizens. Embracing the creative exploration of both traditional art practices
and new media, our diverse student body is prepared to take on the complex
challenges of the 21st Century. We offer BFA and BA degrees in Studio Art, with
BFA concentrations in Photography, Painting and Drawing, Sculpture/ 3D Design,
Digital Art and Design, and Video Production; and a BA degree in Art History.
