CCAR: Annual Report 2019–2020 R e search a n d S c holarshi ps 23 Through generous support from the President's Office, Project Pericles Civic Engagement and Public Values Faculty Fellowship Grants are awarded to faculty who are developing a new or retooled Civic Engagement and Public Values Course. I am proud to have worked for an institution that encourages opening up the discussion about social justice and criminal justice, while amplifying the voices of those directly affected by incarceration." —Kimberly Schiess '23 Pace students provided cohesive and valuable research for the Sing Sing Prison Museum to support the creation of a more accessible narrative about the prison's history. Their white papers provided a solid foundation on which museum staff is currently building out the greater themes and concepts that the museum will explore. This includes planning programming, exhibits, community events, and digital Town Hall presentations, and building a more robust web presence. The students' papers have been shared with the board as well, and they are a reference point for an augmented reality project currently in the works. Sing Sing Museum Internship Project
