The Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) supports students who seek to incorporate service and civic opportunities into their education. www.pace.edu/ccar 8 2017 with leads to opportunities for Every fall, CCAR POWER's Pumpkins, Stereotypes Fall 2018 A politically engaged Cíara attends the Westchester County Executive's bill-signing to ban conversion therapy, as well as CCAR's midterm election results watch party. Fall 2019 Cíara maintains her dedication to social justice education by serving as a FACES student in MCA 381: Multimedia Storytelling: Community Action. She assists in the creation of promotional materials showcasing the partnership between Feeding Westchester and the Pace Mobile Food Pantry, an initiative Cíara has volunteered with since its inception in Fall 2018. Spring 2020 In her last semester at Pace, Cíara continues to develop as a leader and advocate by attending CCAR's Debating for Democracy: An Activism Training with Beautiful Trouble conference. Fall 2019 Cíara also continues her commitment to service, attending a Holiday Decorating Party at Pleasantville Cottage School. Spring 2020 She also continues in multiple campus leadership roles, including serving on the planning committee for Pace's annual Pride Hoops event.
