Sociology/Anthropology and Women's and Gender Studies '21 Marisa Guillet— New York City Spring 2018 Following the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, Marisa expands her involvement in issues related to gun violence. She works with CCAR to lead a group of Pace students to Washington, DC for the March for Our Lives. repeal Fall 2018 As an active member of Pace's Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI), and cocreator of the WLI mentorship program, Marisa leads a walkout in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and other survivors of sexual violence. Fall 2017 Marisa hosts President Krislov in her residence hall for a night of community service. They make holiday cards for Rylan Ward, a child who was injured in a mass shooting in Texas. Spring 2018 After attending the march, Marisa joins related actions on campus organized by PaceUEndRape and what would become Pace Students Against Gun Violence (PSAGV), a group spearheaded by CCAR student staff members David Le '19 and Laurianne Gutierrez '20.
