www.pace.edu/ccar 14 Hosted in collaboration with the Helene and Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship, "Crisis at the Border: Activism and Professions for Creating Change" provided an opportunity for academics and activists from both Pace and the community at-large to discuss the present-day reality of immigration and related policing, as well as opportunities to push for change. Kelly Smith '21, a political science student, and Gurleen Bajwa '21, an advertising and integrated marketing major, submitted a winning letter for the Project Pericles 2020 Debating for Democracy Letter to an Elected Official Competition. Their "Letter in Support of the 'Promoting Reentry through Education in Prisons Act of 2019' (S.1337) to Establish Prison Education Programs" was addressed to Senator Charles E.
