S u c c ess thr o u g h A c tive Citi z e n s h i p CCAR: Annual Report 2019–2020 7 Digital Cinema and Filmmaking '20 Cíara Kain— Pleasantville Fall 2016 Cíara becomes involved with CCAR soon after arriving at Pace by attending Pace Makes a Difference Day and CCAR's annual dance with students from the Successful Learning Center. Fall 2016 She also takes on her first campus leadership role by joining the E-Board of Pride at Pace. Spring 2017 In her second semester at Pace, Cíara begins bridging her service and advocacy work. She volunteers at Otter Creek and Rockefeller State Park Preserve and attends the People's Climate March in Washington, DC with CCAR. Fall 2017 Cíara's work with POWER leads new opportunities collaboration. Every co-sponsors POWER's Smashing Pumpkins, Smashing Stereotypes event. Fall 2017 Cíara helps form POWER, a student organization that promotes intersectional feminism through activism, advocacy, and education. She serves on the group's E-Board through her last semester senior year.
