D Y S O N Y E A R I N R E V I E W 2 0 2 1 – 2 0 2 2 6 Inside Dyson Dyson Alumni Bethany Braun-Silva '10, ASDS On-air Parenting, Ente ainment, and Lifestyle Expe Formerly the editor of Parenting.com, Braun-Silva recently teamed up with Amazon to film promotional videos for the launch of Amazon Glow, a video-cha ing device that helps children stay engaged when connecting with long-distance relatives through stories, games, and vi ual a creation. Corrina Day '16, Film and Screen Studies Photographer, Videographer, and Creative Director With more than 19K followers on Instagram and 24K followers on TikTok, Day is making her presence known in the fashion photography space. Spli ing her time between Los Angeles and New York, she has done photo shoots for brands such as Lexxola, Garage, and Edikted, and was recently featured in NYLON magazine. Nina Freeman '12, English Video Game Designer, Twitch Streamer Freeman, who designs narrative–style video games, has mentioned her love of poetry and her personal experiences as inspiration for her games in profiles for The New York Times and The Financial Times. Freeman has more than 26K followers on Twi er and nearly 12K followers on Twitch, a video game streaming social media pla orm. Brianna Joye Kohn '16, Commercial Dance Fitness Influencer A er seeing tremendous success posting workout videos on TikTok—she has over 1.3 million followers on the pla orm—Kohn launched her own fitness app, BOLD by Brianna Joye, which features interactive workouts, live fitness classes, and nutrition plans. Juliana Ma ins '18, Communication Studies Founder, Eleven11 Media Relations At just 24 years old, Ma ins is the founder of bicoastal public relations, marketing, and influencer agency Eleven11 Media Relations, working with big-name clients such as singer-songwriter Kesha and The Bachelor lead Peter Weber. Host of the podcast Behind the Media, Ma ins has become an influencer in her own right, with more than 11.7K followers on Instagram. Nicole Wiseman '11, Theater A s Founder, Designer Dust Co Designer Dust Co, which Wiseman founded in 2019, was featured in Teen Vogue a er their cosmetic product, Face Sprinkles, went viral on TikTok as an affordable alternative to the gli ery makeup worn on the hit HBO series Euphoria. Designer Dust Co has more than 93K followers on TikTok, with the brand's videos garnering hundreds of thousands of views and likes. #Trending These Dyson alumni are making waves in the social media sphere, building their brands, and showcasing their talents.
