Students who have completed prerequisites are placed in forensic labs around New York City for internship experience in handling forensic issues. n ritical C connections—Both our faculty and Pace's Career Services (with the largest internship program in the New York Metropolitan Area) provide you with connections to numerous employment opportunities in labs with the New York Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Office of Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York. n State-of-the-art equipment—Pace offers fully equipped facilities for forensic chemistry and biology, including a new state-of-the-art DNA sequencing lab and specialized laboratories with virtual crime scene reconstruction software and forensic microscopy. " Pace not only provided me with a great education in the classroom, but also prepared me for a professional laboratory setting. Our classes were taught with similar instrumentation, and many of my professors work in the field. They often used their experiences as case studies for us to mimic. I am currently working for the Drug Enforcement Administration in New York City because of this program." —Amanda Pneuman '11, BS Forensic Science and Chemistry/MS Forensic Science
