Lifelong Learning for Digital Natives: Skills Our Students Need for the 21st Century" " Dyson Day The annual Dyson Day Conference featured keynote speaker Shelli Fowler, the senior director for Networked Pedagogies and Professional Development and associate professor of English at Virginia Tech. Fowler works with faculty and graduate students to explore the integration of teaching and technology. The keynote address was "Lifelong Learning for Digital Natives: Skills Our Students Need for the 21st Century," and a roundtable discussion and presentations followed the keynote address. The conference took place on April 11 on the Westchester Campus. Will Pappenheimer, Panelist on Whitney Museum Symposium on Social Media On January 14, Associate Professor of Art Will Pappenheimer was among a group of distinguished scholars, curators, and artists who participated in the Whitney Museum of American Art symposium, Shared Spaces: Social Media and Museum Structures. The symposium examined the transformation of the museum in the age of social media.
