At the EPA, I work on a broad range of
projects, from water quality studies
to brownfield cleanups, to working
with states and businesses to develop
pollution prevention strategies. Without
the strong foundation in an array of
environmental science topics developed
while a part of the MSES program, I
would struggle to excel in my position.
The varied coursework as well as diverse
perspectives of the faculty at Pace have
provided me the ability to jump into
almost any project that comes up. It still
surprises me how often I find myself
recalling a class where we discussed
an environmental issue that I'm now
addressing or a research technique that
I'm now utilizing."
