In Memoriam
Tom Henthorne, PhD
Professor of English and Women's and Gender Studies passed away after a battle with
cancer. Tom was a highly engaged and committed teacher and scholar, and a beloved
faculty member. He held strong principles and brought them to bear in everything he did;
he was truly authentic, thinking of others and how to improve their situations; student-
centered in his teaching and a close friend to his colleagues.
