Art Professor Peter Fingesten teaches ancient
Near Eastern art history to Pace business

In 1950, Fingesten, a surrealist artist, was a
founding faculty member of the Art Department
on the New York City Campus and he served as
the department's chair until 1968.
The Peter Fingesten Gallery is named for him
and it exhibits the work of professional artists,
students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
