Master of Arts in Environmental Policy Become an agent of change in the world of environmental policy Gain the professional expertise that will help guide the world to a better environmental future. Pace's two-year, 45-credit MA in Environmental Policy draws from a wide range of faculty across the University's schools and campuses. The interdisciplinary curriculum examines not only formal laws and regulations but also the broader processes of sustainable governance—from the local to the global, and from public to private to nonprofit. The program is rounded out with studies in essential topic areas including pollution control, management of production and consumption, lobbying and advocacy techniques, and maintaining biodiversity. Developed and Taught by Faculty who are Leaders in the Field Students work with faculty who are academic and professional trailblazers in the field. Faculty research and specialization includes: • biodiversity • climate change • energy transitions • food systems • green infrastructure • resource management • smart cities • water quality • wildlife conservation Career Opportunities As a graduate of the program, you will be prepared to enter the professional world as a leader, analyst, advocate, consultant, or manager capable of influencing policy within: • Citizens' groups • Corporate environmental offices • Federal, state, and local agencies • Legislative staff • Nonprofit environmental policy organizations
