Possessing a deep knowledge of inflation, the availability of credit,
and the supply of money is all in a day's work for Team Pace, who
took first place in the national College Fed Challenge, again.
For the second year running, they are the best in the nation in their
knowledge of monetary policy, swiftly beating out stiff competition
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Northwestern
University, and Princeton University.
The winning team is comprised of Katherine Craig '16, Daniella
Gambino '16, Melissa Navas '18, Jonathan Okane '17, and
Yuliya Palianok '18 (all Economics majors); Jozef Lampa' 18
(Business Economics); and Omar Habib '19 (Economics minor).
The team's faculty advisors are economics Professors Greg
Colman and Mark Weinstock.

30 UNDER 30
Nina Freeman '12 was named
one of Forbes Magazine's 30 Under
30 In Games for her innovative
work in video game design. She has
been profiled by The Guardian and
Wired Magazine.
Freeman's first creation, Cibele, is
a character-driven game about a
teenage girl engaged in a whirlwind
online romance. Praised for its
intimate storylines and relatable
characters, the game received
the Nuovo Award at the 2016
Independent Games Festival, the
largest annual gathering of the indie
video game industry.
An English major, Freeman now
works at the game studio Fullbright
as a level designer, transforming
concept art, sketches, and models
into digital environments and
characters.
