Student Managed Investment Portfolio Participants: Professor Ron Filante Students in FIN 357 (PNY & PLV) Purpose: Students manage a portfolio worth about $360,000 sponsored by the University. They conduct research using quantitative and qualitative stock analysis to recommend purchases and sales, giving the students hands on experience. Forum "Growth" competition for 2013 with a 39% return • Gain for 2016-17 year was 22.24%
