Relations between Green Rankings and Investor Protection Dr. Kam Chan with Dr. Mohamed Hussein (U. of Connecticut) Dr. Gim Seow (U. of Washington) Dr. Kinsun Tam (SUNY-Albany) The objective of this study is to examine the effects of investor protection on Newsweek's Global Green Ranking of 500 biggest public companies. This study is supported by a 2017 Lubin summer research grant. Newsweek's Top 10 green companies The green rankings are positively associated with the strength of shareholder rights and the extent of legal enforcement of the firms' home countries.
