An AmeriCorp program, Jumpstart is open to all Pace University students. It gives them the opportunity to work with young children and inspire in them a love for learning. e program offers training and on-going professional development. Society of fellows Jumpstart e Society of Fellows' (SOF) annual Fall Weekend Seminar took place in October at the Warwick Center in Warwick, NY. e theme was "Understanding Democracy, Power, and How We Got Here," and fellows exchanged and debated ideas at table discussions and fireside chats. is year's SOF class is the Gail B. Greenberg class. Greenberg earned her degree in literature and communications from Pace in 1983 and has been a regular participant since the SOF's founding in 1980. rough her sustained engagement, she is a role model to our students.
