Travel Documentary Premiers at the Jacob Burns Film Center Ridge to Ranch to River to Reef: Florida's Conservation Connections, the Media, Communications, and Visual Arts travel documentary short, had its world premiere at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville. e film explores the way the Sunshine State balances the needs of its citizens and economy with those of its subtropical ecosystem and wildlife. Student Film Showcase Twice annually, the Film and Screen Studies Department hosts the FSS Student Film Screening at the Schimmel eater. e student-made short films range from thrillers to comedy to documentary to art house. e showcases offer industry professionals a chance to see the work of up-and-coming talent. New Documentary Explores a Passover Fable Professor of Media and Communication Arts Allen Oren's documentary e Four Sons and All eir Sons: A Passover Tale aired on Public Broadcasting Stations across the country. e documentary looks at how the tale of the four sons in the Haggadah has been interpreted in art, music and literature.
