Berkowitz, president, 100 Resilient Cities
at the Rockefeller Foundation, and Jon
Freedman, VP global partnerships and policy,
GE Water & Process Technologies. Panel
participants hailed from the Asia-Pacific
Centre for Environmental Law, Singapore;
the Billion Oyster Project at the New York
Harbor Foundation; the Bronx River Alliance;
and Columbia University's Water Center, as
well as other influential agencies.
Presented by Dyson College and the Dyson
College Institute for Sustainability and
the Environment, this was the third in a
biannual conference series about resiliency.
Previous summits focused upon the aermath
of Hurricane Sandy and public-private
partnerships. e conference was held on the
New York City campus and open to the public.
