Dyson College's ird Summit on Resilience Keynote Speaker and Scholar- in-Residence: Peter Gleick, president emeritus and chief scientist, Pacific Institute. Signature Event The local and Global Challenge Other featured speakers were Michael Berkowitz, president, 100 Resilient Cities at the Rockefeller Foundation, and Jon Freedman, VP global partnerships and policy, GE Water & Process Technologies. Panel participants hailed from the Asia-Pacific Centre for Environmental Law, Singapore; the Billion Oyster Project at the New York Harbor Foundation; the Bronx River Alliance; and Columbia University's Water Center, as well as other influential agencies. Presented by Dyson College and the Dyson College Institute for Sustainability and the Environment, this was the third in a biannual conference series about resiliency. Previous summits focused upon the aermath of Hurricane Sandy and public-private partnerships. e conference was held on the New York City campus and open to the public. A video playlist of the day's highlights is available on the Dyson College YouTube channel, and a series of papers about resiliency, water resources and use will be published by the Journal of Environmental Studies and Science. 2016–17 | 7
