The Curriculum
The MS in Environmental Science is a 33–35 credit program that can be
completed on either a full- or part-time basis. Most classes are held in the
afternoon or evening to accommodate working professionals.
We seek students from a diverse scientific background. Coursework
in biology and chemistry is strongly recommended, but other scientific training will
be considered. College-level physics and calculus are recommended but
not required.
Elective courses allow students to concentrate on a particular area of expertise,
such as toxicology, plant ecology, water science and hydrology, conservation
biology, and geographical information systems.
Scholarship opportunities and competitive graduate assistantships are available
for qualified candidates.
