Kimberly Collica-Cox, PhD, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, was honored at the Jefferson national ceremony on June 28, 2018 in Washington, D.C. She was awarded one of their top honors, the "Outstanding Public Service by an Employee" award for her decades-long commitment to working with incarcerated female populations and implementing programs to support them. The Jefferson Awards for Public Service seeks out the "unsung heroes," the selfless people who make the world a better place through volunteering and community service efforts. The Jefferson Awards, brought to Pace University in 2008 by President Stephen J. Friedman, recognizes up to 12 members of the Pace community each year. Here are the 2017–18 Bronze Medal winners.
