E D U / D Y S O N 7 Mikelle Adgate '07, Political Science Senior Vice President, Government and Community Relations, New York City Economic Development Corporation Adgate has had a decades-long career with several roles at the New York City Depa ment of Environmental Protection, including as senior advisor for strategic planning, director of stormwater management outreach, and project manager for green infrastructure pa nerships. In her current role at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, she serves as senior vice president for government and community relations. Faiza Ali '07, Political Science First Deputy Chief of Staff, New York City Council In February 2022, New York City Council Speaker Adrienne E. Adams named Ali as a member of her senior staff leadership, promoting Ali to deputy chief of staff of community engagement. Since then, Ali has risen to first deputy chief of staff. Serving in City Council since 2014 and one of the first women in her family to a end college, Ali's work is dedicated to empowering communities of color through strategy and policy. Peter Fragale '88, Criminal Justice Assistant Vice President, HR Shared Services, NYC Health + Hospitals Through hiring, planning, and execution, Fragale was instrumental in the establishment of testing centers across New York City and its five boroughs in the early pa of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fred Kreizman '11, MPA Commissioner, New York City Mayor's Community Affairs Unit New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced his senior leadership team in January, naming Kreizman commissioner of the Community Affairs Unit. Kreizman rose through the ranks in the Community Affairs Unit under Mayor Bloomberg from 2002 to 2014, eventually serving as deputy commissioner. Lovesun Parent '04, Political Science Director, Institutional Suppo Contract, Inclusive Development Hub of the United States Agency for International Development A er serving in various roles in the United Nations, Parent now serves as director of an institutional suppo contract under the Inclusive Development Hub of the United States Agency for International Development. The Hub promotes democratic values around the world through pa nerships and investments that seek to address pove y, governance, and humanitarian crises. In her role, Parent leads a team of expe s that analyze development issues and provide technical assistance. Rossana Rosado '83, Journalism Commissioner, New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services In February 2022, Rosado was confirmed by Governor Kathy Hochul as the commissioner of the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, a depa ment that seeks to improve the quality of the criminal justice system by providing resources and services to inform decision- making and enhance public safety.
