Students should submit applications for transfer credits for first year courses by June 15 of the year preceding entry into the program. For courses beyond the first year, students should submit their application by October 31 of the year the student enters the graduate program. Students from New York State approved school psychology programs receive 45 transfer credits toward the PhD. For further information, see Advanced Standing section below. Transcript evaluation occurs aer program admission and matriculation. Advanced Standing Advanced Standing students are those who have satisfactorily completed the course work and internship requirements of a school psychology program and are eligible for New York State School Psychology Certification. Although Advanced Standing students are given 45 graduate transfer credits toward the 101 graduate doctoral program, students with advanced standing in the PhD program must complete PSY 713, PSY 715, PSY 716, the comprehensive examination, and 18 additional graduate credits at Pace University prior to beginning the fourth year field experiences and related seminars. Advanced Standing students are required to take and pass all sections of the comprehensive examination and complete the program within six years. Full-time or part-time study Students may undertake the program on a full or part-time basis, but the program must be completed within 10 years. Class hours permit
