Impactful, Faculty-Led, Community-Engaged Research Rigorous academic instruction integrated with high-impact, faculty-led, community-based research and engagement is a hallmark of Pace University's Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. In the following section, Professor and former Depa ment Chair Rebecca Tekula, PhD, shares insights into the program's influential research projects that provide valuable experiential learning oppo unities for students. Strong Community Relationships Our faculty have cultivated strong relationships with a variety of civic, nonprofit, and governmental organizations through collaborative research projects that are responding to community needs in real time. Community-engaged research is a powe ul collaborative process that incorporates input from the people and Pace's Public Administration Department Rises in US News Ranking Pace's Public Administration NASPAA- accredited program has climbed up 61 places in US News & World Repo rankings (USN&WR) of Best Grad Schools in Public Affairs since 2019. This trend reflects the depa ment's growing impact on public service education through the excellent work and accolades of our faculty and students and the suppo and resources provided by the leadership of Dyson College of A s and Sciences and the University. While USN&WR is one of the many indicators to measure the quality and reputation of our public affairs education, earning this impo ant milestone is a major accomplishment for the depa ment.
