Additional panelists were: Amy King, professor of Creative Writing at SUNY Nassau Community College; Irene O'Garden, poet, playwright, performer and author; Marina Zurkow, professor in the Interactive Technology Program (ITP) at NYU. The event was sponsored by the Women's National Book Association, WNBA-NYC Chapter. STEM Collaboratory NYC™ CCERS Colloquium: "Smart and Connected Communities:" John Cronin organized and moderated a panel on oyster restoration law and policy as part of a multi-panel program hosted by Pace University's STEM Collaboratory. Eleventh Annual Student Summit of the Environmental Consortium: On April 15, Pace's Pleasantville campus hosted "Our Collective Campus: Acting on our Social and Environmental Responsibility," as students from higher education around the region met to discuss topics of environmental justice, ecological restoration, sustainable communities, food, water and health.
