EARTH Month 2017 is year, Pace continued its annual Earth Month tradition that reflects a University-wide commitment to honor our planet and confront important environmental and sustainability issues. Angelo Spillo, director of the Dyson College Nature Center, created Earth Month and heads up the festivities, which were not in short supply. Activities included tree planting, talks on sustainability, beekeeping and poetry readings. Green Works e Dyson College Institute for Sustainability and the Environment (DCISE) is an incubator for solutions to today's most pressing environmental and sustainability issues. DCISE is comprised of the Department of Environmental Studies and Science; the Environmental Consortium of Colleges and Universities; the Dyson College Nature Center; and the Dyson College Center for the Arts, Society and Ecology. is year, DCISE sponsored numerous curricular and co-curricular activities that advance our understanding of the environment and give students one-of-a kind experiences that prepare them for careers in the environment. e Dyson College Institute for Sustainability and the Environment 14 | Dyson Year in RevieW
