Susan Mary Kamen, adjunct professor of Mathematics and University 101 instructor on the New York City campus, will be remembered for her caring teaching style. Robert T. Keegan, professor of Psychology on the Pleasantville campus, passed away in January 2017. Bob was a devoted member of the Pace community, serving for more than 33 years. Elizabeth Kemp, professor and director of the Actors Studio Drama School's MFA Acting Program, passed away in September 2017. She was an actress and influential acting teacher, having worked with leading actors including Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman, and Lady Gaga. Michael Levandowsky, adjunct professor of Biology on the New York City campus since 1970, passed away in December 2016. An internationally renowned scientist and founding member of e River Project, his affiliation with Pace's Haskins Laboratories dated back to 1964. Howard Livingston, professor of English, passed away in March 2017. Known as "Doc," he loved to tell stories, and had a meaningful and lasting impact on many of his students who had remained close to him. Anthony (Tony) Monte, a lecturer of Music on the Pleasantville campus, passed away in November 2016. A renowned pianist, composer, and featured personality in television and radio, he served Pace for more than 20 years. Muriel Shine, distinguished professor of English who served on the New York City campus for nearly thirty years, passed away in February 2017. She was an outstanding teacher and Kenan Award recipient who nurtured her students. Martin A. Sokoloff, professor of Communication and Psychology who retired from Pace in 1987, passed away in May 2017. He was a respected member of the faculty, and instrumental in developing the Speech Pathology program. Dyson College mourns the loss of eight esteemed faculty, who will be remembered as outstanding teachers, mentors, and colleagues of the Pace community. In Memoriam 38 | Dyson Year in RevieW
