Internships require a minimum of 1,200 clock hours of supervised internship fieldwork approved by the Director of Field Training. At least 600 clock hours must be completed in a school setting. To enhance this experience, students enroll in PSY 734 (Consultation) and PSY 759 (Early Childhood and Infant Assessment) early in their internship (fall). ese courses facilitate integration of prior learning and broaden the final internship field experience. Satisfactory completion of MSEd program requirements is determined by an ongoing evaluation process. Typically, the evaluation includes grades in courses, progress in the development of competencies, and performance on the Qualifying and other examinations. Completion of the MSEd program includes reports and observations by faculty and cooperating supervisors of the student's academic, professional demeanor, and professional practice performance.
